The staff of the Student Activity Center at UC San Francisco provides administrative support, such as event planning, publicity and promotion, to student government and student-initiated campus organizing efforts. The Leadership Certificate Program at UC Santa Barbara includes academic courses, educational workshops, faculty mentors, an annual leadership conference, a reflection paper, and internship opportunities. UC Santa Cruz wins the award for the best acronym for a student leadership program – SOAR, short for Student Organization Advising and Resources.
